Hamburger Hill
AroView: A matter-of-fact depiction of a particularly costly battle of the Vietnam War, in which US troops repeatedly tried to capture ‘Hill 937’ in May 1969. Centred around 14 soldiers at the heart of the action, this eschews any single moral or political message, concentrating instead on the combat conditions and grim mathematics of the war. Music by Phillip Glass.
