AroView: A broadly subversive drama set among the bored US Army Corp guarding West Germany just before the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

The film tanked due to its unfortunate timing – released just two days before ⁹⁄₁₁ – it chiefly tracks the misadventures of Joaquin Phoenix, a reluctant army clerk whose energies mainly go into dealing drugs, weaponry and black market merchandise. Difficulties emerge when a hardline new sergeant determines to bring the budding entrepreneur down.
