AroView: Film-maker Florian Habicht finds the perfect portrait subject in Warwick Broadhead, a fiercely independent, 40-year veteran of performing arts, whose remarkable career sprawls from suburban NZ living to free-spirited San Francisco and back again.

In a gorgeous conceit, the chameleonic actor tells his own story through a myriad of colourful alter-egos, who each try to offer insight into the real “Warwick”. The close affinity of subject and director provides a rewarding balance, with warmth, eccentricity, generosity and creativity evident in abundance in both men.
