AroView: A delightfully surprising documentary feature about an Auckland “scream park” called Spookers that provides brave hordes of paying customers with the fearsome thrills of freaks, zombies and chainsaw-wielding clowns, played by a close-knit community of ordinary Kiwis.

The material is a perfect match for dir. Florian Habicht, who fully satiates his appetite for the quirky and theatrical while ‘unmasking’ the humble reality of each of the performers, directly sensitive to the contentious fact that the park occupies the site of a former psychiatric hospital.
