AroView: Fantastic local feature film spin-off of Harry Sinclair’s hugely popular kids TV show about the friendship between an odd couple of prehistoric creatures, voiced by Olivia Tennet and Jemaine Clement.

Delightfully rendered in clay stop-motion by co-director Antony Elworthy and his well-oiled team, who make the illusory world look and feel effortless, while Sinclair’s ‘Front Lawn’ cohort Don McGlashan makes sure the music elements are way above the standard. Entertaining for grown-ups as well, the solid script sustains the adventure, humour and pathos over a lean 60 minutes, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself watching it twice.
