AroView: A bracing drama about an idealistic maths teacher caught in the pressure-cooker environment of a contemporary German high school.

Leonie Benesch plays a smart and compassionate woman fully in control of her faculties, if not her faculty or her students, when a scandal involving a petty theft becomes a lightning rod for conflicting agendas. The film doesn’t deliver easy answers, but plenty of provocation about a modern world where “the right thing” seems entirely subjective and is much easier said than done.
