AroView: Pas de Vagues is a French drama of serious integrity based on true story of a dynamic teacher (François Civil) whose passion for romantic literature sees him accused of sexual misconduct by a female student.

The insidious accusation is soon out of control, and his attempts to quell it with commonsense are further complicated by his private life as a gay man. This erosion of idealism might be a theme too pessimistic for some tastes, but it speaks volumes about modern culture fostered beyond the classroom, and the limits and challenges presented to educators in these tricky times.
