The Kindergarten Teacher
AroView: English-language remake of the 2014 Israeli film of the same name about a jaded teacher, mother and aspiring poet who becomes increasingly obsessed with one of her five-year-old students whom she believes has a prodigious gift for poetry. The character’s questionable choices are arguably questionable turns in the plot, but this succeeds as a vehicle for the supreme talents of Maggie Gyllenhaal.
