Shihad: Beautiful Machine
AroView: A dignified and highly satisfying chronicle of the iconic Kiwi rockers, brimming with revealing anecdotes about the band’s fight with fame, the industry and finally, itself.
The mud-slinging is kept to a minimum, but in its place is a humility and bare-faced honesty about the enormous challenges and compromises endured over a sustained career of more than twenty years. Whether you are a fan of the band or not, this is essential as both a uniquely Kiwi story and sobering reality check on the Antipodean rock ‘n’ roll dream.
“The best music documentary that will ever come out of New Zealand.” ~Simon Sweetman, DOMINION POST
