Re-Animator
AroView: Arguably the greatest splatter comedy ever made, this takes gore levels to a (then) new extreme, but without losing the plot or sacrificing the witty details. Expanding and updating the short story by H.P. Lovecraft, it follows the misadventures of rebel science student Herbert West who invents a serum that brings the dead back to life. The result was a jaw-dropping classic that would inspire a generation of film-makers, including Peter Jackson and Sam Raimi.
