AroView: A British sex farce about a man who unknowingly receives a penis transplant, this comedy has been tarred with the same ‘puerile’ brush as those terrible “Confessions” films, but in fact it’s a well-acted, smartly scripted comedy of surprising restraint and poignancy.
As the poor schmuck whose fresh endowment does not match his character, Hywel Bennett is wonderful, and looks Austin Powers-groovy in his 70’s digs, along with an adorable female cast that includes Britt Ekland. Soundtrack by The Kinks.
