AroView: While Hitchcock’s PSYCHO received rave reviews and general acceptance, Michael Powell’s equally contentious but brilliant film was condemned as “low-rent trash”, even ending his illustrious career.

Now standing tall as a masterpiece of self-referential cinema, the story follows a clean-cut focus-puller with a ‘jekyll-and-hyde’ homicidal streak who stalks his victims, camera in hand, in an obsessive quest for the look of pure unadulterated fear. Most definitely worth a peep!
