AroView: An edgy yet highly engaging indie rom-com about a perfect romantic getaway that takes a surprising turn for the worse.
Molly Gordon is delightful as the misguided romantic lead, graduating from a supporting role in SHIVA BABY, and Logan Lerman is the right man for the job as well. It’s a super-confident second feature by writer-director Sophie Brooks, who has quite a bit to say about modern courtship, and the good sense to cast the appealing Geraldine Viswanathan (Cat Person, 7 Days) and John Reynolds (TV’s Search Party) in supporting roles. ★★★★
