AroView: Budding theatre director Ben Mendelsohn is haggled into staging a bizarre version of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte at a psychiatric hospital. Adapted from the exuberant stageplay by Louis Nowra, it dresses up in feel-goodness and boasts a prestigious Ozzie cast, including Toni Collette, Barry Otto, David Wenham, Jackie Weaver and Aden Young.
Based loosely on Nowra’s own experience at producing Trial by Jury at a mental hospital in suburban Melbourne in 1971.
