AroView: It’s no spoiler to say that Iris (Sophie Thatcher) is not what she seems in this cutting-edge sci-fi comedy thriller that deploys some pretty cool ideas around the tension between human and artificial intelligence (and beauty) while it turns the tables on toxic masculinity, control and entitlement.
Like “Death of a Unicorn” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies”, it’s another from the zeitgeist to be set in a billionaire’s country retreat, and while it doesn’t reinvent the genre wheel, it’s an iteration with just enough novel add-ons to make it well worth the upgrade.
