Bad Behaviour

Lucy (Jennifer Connelly), a former child actor, seeks enlightenment at a retreat led by spiritual leader Elon (Ben Whishaw) while she navigates her close yet turbulent relationship with her stunt-performer daughter, Dylan (Alice Englert).

This debut feature written, directed and starring New Zealander Alice Englert had its International Premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The film was shot across Central Otago and features a force of Kiwi actors including Ana Scotney (Millie Lies Low), Beulah Koale and singer-actor Marlon Williams.
