The Innocents
AroView: An unsettling Norwegian coming-of-age drama that isn’t for the squeamish, but it’s not without mercy or compassion. The four child actors are sensational as a group connected by telepathic and telekinetic powers who test their relationship loyalties and the boundaries between good and evil. Skillful director Eskil Vogt also wrote the screenplay to “The Worst Person in the World”.
“The lonely, uncanny and sometimes unthinkingly violent world of childhood is explored with chilling candor and exceptional skill.” ~Leslie Felperin, The Hollywood Reporter
“This superior chiller is both a satisfying genre exercise and a minute observation of the process by which young children acquire morality.” ~Jessica Kiang, Variety
