The Hands of Orlac
Conrad Veidt plays a world-famous pianist who has both hands surgically replaced after losing them in an accident, only to discover that they once belonged to a murderer.
The director and star of “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” reunite for a classy pulp tale based on the French sci-fi novel ‘Les Mains d’Orlac’ by Maurice Renard. Restored to its full length in 1995.
