AroView: American director Richard Linklater’s adoring homage to the ‘French New Wave’ that playfully re-creates the unruly making of Jean-Luc Godard’s rule-breaking ‘Breathless’ over its 20-day shoot.

Guillaume Marbeck nails it as the unflappable film critic- turned-director who, for his feature debut, seemed to know nothing of making a film in the conventional sense, but was instead possessed of a rare, devil-may-care conviction that endeared him to few of his collaborators.
