Set in a seaside port town in the north of Iran, the film stars Sareh Bayat (A SEPARATION) as an imperfect heroine struggling within a culture still bound by ancient laws regarding family and marriage. A closely observed and gripping melodrama with a terrific lead performance, from up-and-coming Iranian female director Ida Panahandeh.
