Man Up
AroView: Simon Pegg and Lake Bell have the requisite chemistry and comedy chops in this nimble and self-aware rom-com about a single woman who’s mistaken for a stranger’s blind date.
With a flawless accent, American actress Lake Bell comfortably inhabits what are quintessentially British comic mannerisms in what can be regarded as a masterful performance of the goofy single-white-female archetype.
“Unexpectedly refreshing and exceedingly charming. ” ~ The Playlist.
