Brandon Flynn and Julia Goldani Telles have the charisma and chemistry to carry the absurd premise this through, though it is more successful in its earlier comic stretches that the latter dramatic ones where the film might lose some of that freshness. It’s otherwise a breezy, enjoyable entertainment for young adults, with a terrific supporting cast relishing the many darkly comic gags.
