In the Bedroom
AroView: Sissy Spacek and Tom Wilkinson (both deservingly nominated for Oscars) hardly miss a beat as the middle-aged couple forced to deal with the tragic death of their only son and the subsequent foibles of the justice system.
While displaying the kind of craft and detail that separates a great director from a good one, the film thoroughly interrogates its themes of grief, anger and love, without ever straying into either the depressing or the sentimental.
