Disco Boy
Franz Rogowski (Transit, In The Aisles) stars as a foreign legionnaire fighting demons on the battlefront and urges on the dance floor - his story interwoven with that of Jomo, a guerrilla fighter in a village in the Niger Delta. A striking debut feature from Italian-born director, Giacomo Abbruzzese.
“A visually thrilling, ambitious and distinctly freaky adventure into the heart of imperial darkness, or into something else entirely: the heart of an alternative reality, or a transcendent new self.” ~Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
“While Disco Boy doesn’t entirely weave all its threads to satisfying effect, the film crackles with ideas.” ~Jonathan Romney, Screen Daily
