Bye Bye Morons
AroView: A zesty French black comedy about a 43-year-old hairdresser who desperately seeks to locate the son she once gave up for adoption after learning of her terminal illness.
Along for the ride are a 50-year-old man in the middle of a burnout (played by director Albert Dupontel) and a blind archivist prone to overenthusiasm. Hilarious in places, ridiculous in others, with surreal touches inspired by visual stylists like Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Terry Gilliam.
“A surprisingly taut, deliciously black comedy which offers a crowdpleasing mix of dystopian nightmare and French farce at its finest.” ~James Croot, Stuff
