Brother and Sister
French arthouse auteur Arnaud Desplechin directs Marion Cotillard and Melvil Poupaud as siblings who are nearing their fifties, one an actress, and her brother a teacher and a poet. They no longer speak to one another and have been avoiding each other for over twenty years, but the death of their parents will force them to cross paths.
“There isn’t a predictable moment, and Cotillard and Poupaud inhabit their roles with bracing fearlessness.” ~Sheri Linden, The Hollywood Reporter
