AroView: A finely wrought three-part portmanteau film from the talents of Italian horror-maestro Mario Bava. Boris Karloff provides the introductions to versions of Anton Chekhov’s “The Drop of Water”, Leo Tolstoy’s “The Wurdalak” and Howard Snyder’s “ The Telephone”. As might be expected, the visuals are supremely atmospheric.
