Near a village on the border between Quebec and the United States, customs officer Sonia confiscates kitchen knives and gourmet food from the charming French chef, Victor.

Meanwhile, Sonia’s daughter Lili-Beth has entered a “Mini-Chefs” competition, where she seems to be the underdog with no chance of winning. Perhaps Sonia can convince Victor to help her?
