Switzerland 1307. The Swiss population is heavily oppressed by powerful Austrian forces. William Tell lives a quiet life in the countryside with his family and has vowed never to commit violence after his time in the Crusades. However, Tell suddenly finds himself inadvertently in a situation where he must take a stand in the conflict. When the Austrian governor Gessler, as a punishment, forces Tell to shoot an apple off his son’s head, William Tell decides to join the rebels to stop the bloodshed.
