AroView: An old-fashioned Irish yarn that is also a savvy romantic satire from John Patrick Shanley, writer of 80’s classic “Moonstruck”, and based on his play. The standard plot of family land quarrels soon gives way to the hilariously bridled passion of Emily Blunt – in full-blush in her designer rustic-wear – in what turns out to be a wonderfully rewarding final act. Oh, and it has a lovely Christopher Walken performance, too.
