AroView: Adapted from Mike Myers and Dana Carvey’s Saturday Night Live TV skit, this wacky, irreverent pop-culture comedy makes the most of likeable loonies Wayne and Garth and their zany access-TV show.
The two aimless metal-heads broadcast a talk-show from Wayne’s basement, which comes to the attention of a sleazy network executive (Rob Lowe) who wants to produce a big-budget version - and he also wants Wayne’s girlfriend, a rock singer named Cassandra (Tia Carrere). Loaded with ‘90s West Coast slang and pop culture pastiche.
