The Man Who Killed Don Quixote
AroView: A madcap, time-jumping fantasy adventure from visionary director Terry Gilliam that follows a cynical advertising director (Adam Driver) who succumbs to outrageous delusions after an old Spanish shoemaker believes him to be the real Don Quixote.
The project is the belated realization of the film production first attempted and famously abandoned in 2001, as chronicled in the documentary “Lost in La Mancha” (2002).
“An uncompromising work that will make many viewers frustrated and even furious. I adored pretty much every single glorious, gorgeous goddamn minute of it.” ~Bilge Ebiri, Village Voice
