When fate throws Esteban and Clara together, it is not to simply fall in love and live a peaceful and content life. A home in South America that is built on a foundation of conflict and conservative beliefs, the couple’s daughter Blanca falls in love, and conceives a child with a revolutionary young man who stands against all of Esteban’s beliefs. As the country falls into disarray in the midst of a power struggle, Esteban’s tyrannic nature towards his family grows in strength, to the point where he fails to see how his political values are putting his only child in grave danger.
