Spider Baby
AroView: More of a twisted black comedy than a traditional horror flick in which a trio of child monsters and their ‘uncle’ rabidly protect their rural homestead when a distant relative comes to claim the estate with a band of gold-digging townies. Sleeping over is served with old-fashioned country hospitality - cat for dinner and murder for dessert!
Stands out from the pack with a great twilight performance by Lon Chaney. Jnr. and cinematography that has only recently been able to be appreciated in this restored print.
