A sensitively drawn drama about Arab-Jewish relations from Egyptian director, Moshé Mizrahi, that won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language film.

Simone Signoret stars as Madame Rosa, a retired prostitute and Holocaust survivor who is a foster mother to other prostitutes’ children at a sixth-floor walkup in the Pigalle. She forms a special relationship with Momo, an Algerian boy whom she raises as a Muslim.
