AroView: Comme une image is another diverting comedy of manners from the husband-wife creative team behind The Taste of Others (2000), set among the fragile egos of the literary publishing world.
Nicely assembles its array of characters, with most of the comic (and dramatic) tension derived out of their conflicting insecurities and self-interest. The creative couple’s strongest suit is again in their observational details that are always recognizable and wryly amusing, and here they prove themselves equally adept in performance.
