AroView: An unnerving paranormal mock-documentary from Australia following the ghostly events that precede a 16-year-old’s tragic drowning, who haunts her family with clues from the afterlife.

Made on a miniscule budget, this has a TV doco ring that is pretty convincing (aside from some unavoidable ‘acting’), and succeeds thanks to a chilling downplay of hysteria and impressive sleight of hand camera work. Those seeking out and out scares might feel disappointed however, for the frights here are of the subtle kind.
