AroView: Believing he is the long-lost son of an Evel Knievel offsider, Saturday Night Live alumnus Andy Samburg plays an accident-prone stuntman out to fund his abusive stepfather’s heart operation and win the heart of the girl next door.
Another frat-pack comedy knockoff at first glance, don’t be so quick to judge it by its cover: applying SNL pedigree and post-modernist smarts to its generic underdog story, this anti-Sandler, Ferrell-esque yukfest-with-a-heart hits more than it misses with its arbitrary punchlines and random sense of mayhem and humour.
