AroView: A rock ’n’ roll animal concocted by indie auteur Alex Ross Perry that depicts the fallen glory of a rock musician who once graced the cover of ‘Spin’ magazine.

Courtney Love is the obvious real-world touchstone and Elizabeth Moss’s fictional 90s riot grrl shows her no mercy in portraying her inner and outer discord. It’s a deliberate hot mess of a film that is three acts of sound and fury followed by two acts of quiet, tender drama over 130 minutes.
