AroView: This shaggy (under)dog story of an inarticulate bouncer who finds his calling as a violent enforcer on a struggling minor league ice hockey team plays squarely to genre, though is both perfectly cast and solidly written (by SUPERBAD scribe Evan Goldberg). It’s sports thuggery as comedy, and far better than it ought to be.
