Elf
AroView: This latterday Christmas favourite has a man (Will Ferrell) who has been raised as one of Santa’s elves leaving the North Pole and heading out in search of his roots.
Tracking his father (Caan) to New York, he is dazzled by the locals, but also makes an impression with his expert toy-making skills. Mostly succeeds as a string of absurd sight gags, lit by a cheery yuletide glow.
