Cutthroat Island
AroView: One of Hollywood’s biggest financial disasters, Geena Davis and husband/director Renny Harlin thought the film-going public were begging for a pirate epic of yore. Though it wasn’t to be, the finished film is as polished a swashbuckler as 100 million dollars can buy, with pirate Davis and companion Matthew Modine racing against their rivals to find a hidden island that contains a fabulous treasure.
