Set in 2020, terrifying sightless creatures with hypersensitive hearing have wiped out most of the world’s population, and the family, including congenitally deaf daughter Regan, must use sign language to avoid detection. A terrifically frightening film with almost no dialogue, presented in a lean, no-frills style that will stand the test of time.
