The Matrix Revolutions
AroView: The ‘Matrix Trilogy’ concludes in a green-tinged maelstrom of CGI-enhanced action and conceptual confusion. Trinity (Moss) and Morpheus (Fishburne) seek to rescue Neo (Reeves) from his limbo state, while the computers of The Matrix launch a final all out assault on the human species, while Agent Smith (Weaving) harbours his own nefarious plans… Relying on some by-now exhausted imagery and over-abstraction, this still succeeds as eye-candy, but widely considered an underwhelming conclusion to the iconic sci-fi series.
