One from the Heart
AroView: A passion project for director Francis Ford Coppola, this lavishly mounted musical drama loosely follows the romantic plight of an estranged couple, set against an impressively stylised, neon-glazed backdrop of Las Vegas.
Main actors Frederick Forrest and Terri Garr barely sing a note, instead deferring to Tom Waits (who wrote the exquisite soundtrack) and Crystal Gale, though hotties Raul Julia and Nastassja Kinski get a song each.
