History Is Made at Night

Haunting drama from arch romantic director Frank Borzage about a wealthy divorcée (Jean Arthur) who falls for a charming Parisian waiter (Charles Boyer) whose insanely jealous ex-husband (Colin Clive) will do anything to get her back. Leo Carrillo provides plenty of levity as Boyer’s faithful and ebullient buddy and head chef.
