AroView: Years in the making and much better than expected, this dynamic music biopic follows the fascinating true story of Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan, who unexpectedly conquered the global music charts as the pop duo “Milli Vanilli”.
But their fame turns to infamy when it’s revealed the voices behind their hits were not their own, but those of other singers, masterminded by German pop svengali Frank Farian, who previously enjoyed huge success with “Boney M”.
Ironically, the soundtrack is authentic Milli Vanilli, with other complementary dance bangers giving context and a genuine feel for the era.
