Twelve Monkeys
AroView (from 1995): Ingenious time-travel epic is a long overdue shot in the arm to the sci-fi genre. Terry Gilliam (BRAZIL) notches up another beautiful and vivid apocalyptic vision in fleshing out the elaborate possibilities of Chris Marker’s 1961 short, La Jetee. The result is a thinking person’s “Terminator”.
