AroView: A breathlessly nit-witty comedy from the screwball era with society dame Carole Lombard plucking William Powell out of skid-row for a party, then keeping him around the house for fun. The entire cast are a blast, and the Depression-era satire has teeth as well as pathos. A classic with a capital C.
