Macadam Stories
Darkly humourous French drama about loneliness and connection, with Isabelle Huppert leading a motley cast of characters who all live in the same dilapidated housing project. A compassionate, willfully low-key film about urban alienation carried along by some touching deadpan humour. Worth a look for fans of Roy Andersson-style vignettes.
